Janet Spencer has a blow-out and walks into the Armstrong Chemical Company to ask John Armstrong for help, thus arousing the jealousy of Armstrong's wife, Rita. Her own car now missing, Janet drives away in Rita's car, and almost collides with a second car. When she stops she is accused of hitting and killing a man, Armstrong's senior partner.
