A wonderful adaptation of Joel Chandler Harris' "Tales of Uncle Remus". This film was the first to employ live action with animated sequences, a feat not equaled until "Mary Poppins" in 1965. A story of a young boy's attempt to deal with his parents impending divorce, by escaping into the fantasy world of Brer Rabbit, Fox and Bear, while learning some valuable lessons during his journeys. ~ imdb
